Railsess day 3 & 4 Sthlm
I´ve been struggling with my railinjury so the first day in Sthlm was also my last for theese days. I´ll be back! Anyways, the shredding was on without me so I helped the guys out with what I could - pepptalk, food and shoveling snow.
We started our tueseday with a spotchecking adventure. Snowchaos in Sthlm is nothing you want to be driving around in.
The guys started to hit a downrail but after a few shots we decided that it wasn´t that big so we left for a fourkink under a bridge - could be compared to a sincere deathkink. Large and narrow kinks that wasn´t to fast, so a few fellows got some edges caught. Mattias managed to get down all kinks and Piffen threw down a 270 out. Good job considering the look of it. Simon on the other hand tried to crush a big pillar with his head... unfortunatly the pillar was made of cement and gave him a minor concussion. His helmet did a good job taking the impact though.
During this session I went home to rest, but the other guys killed a downrail later on.
Next day started out with a choir of ouches. Me, Piff and Daniel started to feel the stairs that we tried to be friends with. But instead of going home we went out to meet up with Adam Falk and his filmer Nicke. Good guys that had found a narrow ass doublekink with a huge elbow. Wisely enough I was thinking of Breckenridge and stepped down. So did Piffen an hour later when the rail hugged his knee.. really, really hard.
One down - to two go said the elbow. Adam and Daniel replied with some really nasty crashes and then slipped down all the way trough the crazy kinks and steezed out the landing. Nice! Mr Neuman from transition got some sweet photos, and our filmer Johan (who suffered from a hurlingdisorder) plus Nicke got the clips. (So did I - with Adams new supercamera).
The elbow was done, and we headed to eat. Two hours later we met up at the biggest fourkink I have ever seen! Just huge! All went quick here. Just six hours later Niklas Karlsson had beaten the beast, Piffen had broke his poles, Daniel looked like an exhausted whale, Adam was stearing with blank eyes and Johan was hurling his way home.
Imagin the speed at the end!
Just huge!
Shortly - One made it down, and at this beast of a rail it´s more luck than skills to make it all the way down! Though tons of cred to Niklas who killed it and made it all worth!
Trough it all it was a good trip with worth shots for the Secondhands and nice photos from Mr Neuman. We had a lot of fun as always and met some nice people including cops that just were stoked on what we were doing. For now it´s christmas time and this means some time to heal up.
Merry Christmas!
Railsess 2 Stockholm
The short version - Piff got a good shot, Daniel got a crash, I got pissed off, Adam did well and Mattias destroyed the rail with real Wallisch moves!
After this halfgood start we went to setup two. A doublekink that looked mellow and fun but after a couple of tries we discovered that the kink was so fast we hardly had time to do anything except get over the kink.
Short version - I found a cut off metalpipe under the snow.... with my back. And also discovered the meaning of backprotection. Hurt today but no sincere injury. Just sore all over.
Piff took the downkink with some tricks, Daniel steezed it out and Mattias once again destroyed it with Wallischmove no2.
Today it´s time for more setups, but I´m not sure I can go at it. Think I´ll head out with the other guys and help them out with kickers and shots. Not hit anything myself. Better to rest up the wounds and go at it tomorrow if I can. Breckenridge awaits and I do not want to have an injury then!
More updates to come after this day.
Heading out!
Railsess 1 Falun
Good practice before Stockholm though.
Packing in with Piffen and Daniel tomorrow to go shred some kinked rails in Sthlm. Hope to be good treated by the rails and surronding areas ;)

Park, home, pack, away
I hope Kim and Lasse rips that course apart and make it to the finals! Like Obama would have said "Yes You Can". Or something like that anyways.
Back to today. Filmed the last clips for our edit around lunchtime. Then we had to bail. My toes were killing me! Got inside Wärsan and was amazed by the pain I felt when they started to turn pink... they were a bit white. Frozen toes=pain. Lesson learned. Time to get the boots dry after every day from now on.
So, nice dinner at Wärdshuset then we took off in Piffens Volvo - packed over the limit.
Home now for a day. Going up to Falun on saturday to shoot some rails and then I believe that I´ll go from there directly to Stockholm for more railshots. Wish me luck, stairs are a pain in the ass!
Hopefully it will go well and I´ll be fit for fight in January when Breckenridge awaits us!
Gebe and Piffen in -15 C happy to be out on the top.... Not very warm.
I´ll be back with more from our railshoots,
out.

Busy weekend
Hey, been sort of major busy this weekend but here comes the reasons why in a short version:
Thursday - Travel by bus for 5 hours to Sälen. Eat. Sleep.
Friday - Wake up, hit the brand new flow rider (indoor surfwave) at Experium with the Oneill team. Get wiplash from the first hit. Surf for two more hours. Food. Bloggfilming with Oneill in Tandådalen Big Air arena. Get superstoked and highfive Linus and Anders. Eat. Sleep.
Saturday - Get up earlier than before (7.30) to hit the jump. Try to move the head to the left, then to the right. Ouch, the surfwave did the pain. 360 first hit, pure ice in landing. Keep throwing down for a couple of hours. Eat. Jump til 15. Phonecall = work at the Experium opening at 19. Work with picturegaining (called Binging) til 23. Free beer all night after work... nice!
Sunday - Get up, try to move head - ouch. Pack. Eat. Move to Solbacken at meet up with 2h (Piffen, Gebe, Jonas, Johan, Hamann). Big Air Arena. Listhitting (Explanation further down) all day and all night. Still pure ice in landing. Eat. Lan. Sleep.
Monday - Up. Listhitting til we can´t jump no more. Shop. Eat. Update done.
It´s been a busy weekend but a lot of fun. Tomorrow it´s editday with Piffens camera. For a closer look at the indoor surf check out Oneills team blog! Now it´s chill time to heal sore muscles and above all sore knees. Got some internet now - not all the time - so I will update a bit more often ;)

No snow - no go.
So this means I´m dodging the Årebullet and going back up to Sälen instead. Why you might ask, well believe it or not but hopefully I´m going to the grand opening of experium. The new multicenter located in Lindvallen. And there I´ll meet up with Oneill and get some surfing on their indoor wave! Hehe, now that´s gonna be nice! Although I haven´t been surfing to much this year I hope that the Bali trip last year did something for the surfsence.
Time to pack again!
Out.
Well hello bloggworld
So this is my blogg... huh, kind of boring at the moment but I´m gonna put some work into it so you don´t need to fall asleep in front of your keyboard.
Here I am going to share my world of travelling and skiing with the Secondhands filmcrew. Small edits, "backstage" info and a whole lot of gossip about whats going on in our world.
Til know I´ve been up in Sälen - Tandådalen to get my shit together for the season. Started out scetchy at some boxes and then went to hit the jump in the Big Air Arena for a couple of days. Was A W E S O M E, and actually went pretty good.
Had also the pleasure of working beside the Swedish K2 dudes at the Skitest (Mårten and Marcus), good guys at the top of their game!
A couple of days at home now for packing and getting some mails sent, and on thursday it´s time for the first shoot of the year up in Åre. Hoping for some snow otherwise I don´t know what we are going to shoot... the hands up premiere at dippan perhaps?
Out.
