Bluebird then storm, but first crashes.

Bluebird yesterday... for three hours. And thoose three hours went really bad. Soft snow on the kickers and snowboardtracks all over the place. Don´t get me wrong, I have nothing against snowboarders or their tracks, but this time I caught edges all day long.... wich resulted in two major crashes in the bigger park here in Breck. Ouch. No worries though. Only a few bruises and once again... a bit of a stiff neck. Not as bad as it has been but it has definetly felt better.

Today was a better day. Cruised my day through with soft fivers and my afterbang under my feet. Still soft snow in the kickers but less tracks made it a good day. But then again, the weather is not on our side. After two hours of sun, the clouds came in and we couldn´t spot the landings due to the flat light.

Piffens ski that has been in for repair busted open again so we decided to make it a short day (tomorrow it is supposed to be sun all day) and get his skis fixed. Went into Frisco and made Walmart unsafe. Home now and we have just pieced Piffens skis together with lots of glue and ducktape. Hope it works, and hope we are fit for fight tomorrow... only a week left and we haven´t got that much on film for Secondhands yet. Beginning to be a bit stressed out but since the weather is deciding when we can film, we can´t do much else but wait for the right moment.

No pics. No edit. Just an update..... and oyeah, Jon did a new trick the other day on our own turf home in Sälen.... You bee the judges on whats new and not. My personal view of his new trick is: It´s a crazy trick and I am sure his going to make it famous. And that´s a good landing on a new trick, I am really impressed! But then again... do you really need to build a jump just for yourself that is so perfect that you can´t do anything but succeed?

I know tons of kids who can throw down sick tricks in a perfectly shaped jump. Let all join in on a perfect day. That´s skiing. To make it for yourself... that´s money. Nothing else.
